[OOC: Tommy met Kara, which resulted in this equation: 1 space pilot + 1 firefighter - 3 pairs of pants = sex (just a quickie, but hey, sex!).]
Tommy stops by during work to make a quick (and overdue) delivery at the bar. It's a plastic bag containing a navy blue t-shirt, a women's medium, with the letters FDNY on the front and the phrase KEEP BACK 200 FEET on the back. As a bonus, just because he felt like it, there's also a pair of little red shorts bearing the same message across the rear.
Included is a note written with a Sharpie on a yellow Post-It:
Kara,
Hope these fit!

He pulls another note from his pocket to leave with the bar. Needless to say, he's never had to write to a pony before:
Twilight Sparkle,
A woman named Kara Thrace would like to meet you some time, just for the sake of meeting you. Nothing formal or whatever -- she'll most likely notice you before you see her. She might actually like to meet Pinkie Pie, too.

Apparently the firefighter is as good as his word.
It's possible she'll have to lose a bet before she wears the shorts -- they make her snort but are now the only pair she owns around here -- but the shirt looks like it should fit and if she thought for a split second that the old man would let her get away with wearing it while training nuggets she would.
She tucks her new clothes under one arm and skips leaving any kind of thank-you note before she takes them up to her room. She'll bring it up if she catches Tommy in person.
