At one of the rather sturdy chairs, there is one of Milliways' ~~nigh-nonexistent~~ very small Na'vi population. His ears are not, though, flicking about the catch the sounds of the Bar as they usually do. His tail is waving gently, as if to a rhythm, but it could take a few minutes to assimilate to the sight of Tsu'tey with earphones attached to either side of his semileonine head.

The song is utterly foreign to him, but pretty nonetheless.

... yeah, the earphones aren't something Shephard expected to see.

He's gonna approach from one side now and make sure he gets seen.

Well, they're new, and they're more importantly what the Bar presented Tsu'tey with when he asked for music. After many conversations and repeated instructions on napkins, he finally decided to give it a try, though the earbuds are an odd fit on him and are not altogether comfortable.

The music is different, but it makes up for the immediate unpleasantness. When Shephard approaches, Tsu'tey does see him, and inclines his head with a click of beaded braids.

Shephard waves; his right arm is gloved all the way up to the elbow. He'll just settle down at a nearby chair, for now. No sense interrupting a man in the middle of a song.

The song doesn't take terribly long to finish, and with a minor face made Tsu'tey fishes the earphones out.

"I See you, Adrian."

It's been a while, but Shephard remembers the importance of that particular statement. There's a brief flash of shit, am I allowed to say that back yet? on his face before he nods. "I See you, Tsu'tey," he says, mostly because he doesn't remember exactly how to pronounce the rest of the name on account of only hearing all of it once or twice, tops. "I ain't interrupting, am I?"

Tsu'tey nods--as if the greeting isn't a problem, because it isn't--and attempts to wind the cord up, though the stiffness is bringing him mild problems with that.

"No, you are not. I asked for music, and the bar gave me...this," he says, holding out a tiny mp3 player which would be small in human hands; in his it's kind of ridiculous.

"Huh," says Shephard, examining the thing. "I've seen some folks with these before. It's smaller'n what we had to play back music when I was a kid. Must be somethin' new. She give you anything good in the way of songs?"

"One is very pretty," he admits. "But I cannot tell what the words are." Part of that is that he doesn't know 'shenandoah' and 'missouri' are words, but the fact that they're sung doesn't help.

"Want me to try'n figure it out for you?" says Shephard, carefully unreeling the earphones. "No guarantees, but it can't hurt."

He nods, and watches Shephard put in the headphones. "It is a very strange melody. The words are quite odd, I do not recognize them at all."

"Mmm. Gimme a sec," murmurs Shephard, fumbling with the device until he gets it to play.

After a bit he says, "Okay, I know this one. Buncha those words're places on Earth."
