After making sure one of his apprentices hasn't done anything horribly permanent to herself, Balthazar Blake goes to take up residence on the couch. Wearily, he sighs.

Vaguely, he wonders why he ever longed for the day he would have an apprentice. Never mind having two. This is just plain exhausting.
