Don't know if I'm the boxer, or the bag.
Unless you happen to be in his immediate family, or X-23, then you haven't seen hide nor hair of Mike recently. Even his bed doesn't see as much of him as it used to, what with him currently working on incrementally decreasing the amount of sleep he needs on a daily basis.
It's all in an effort to bring himself up to fighting weight and speed, and it's something he's putting every fiber of his being into for...various and sundry reasons.
Which is why it's vaguely odd for him to be seated on the roof this afternoon, legs dangling over the ledge.
There's a slight hiss as the Amp to his right springs to life, and a cursory twang of electric guitars strings as he sets his pic to work.
The tune he begins to play will be a familiar one to anyone who spent much time paying attention to American FM stations in the early 1990s, thought whether he's singing the "right lyrics" or the misheard ones is really anyone's guess.
