Autor sucks a cold breath through his teeth and holds it when she lands near him. He waits a moment or two after he thinks she leaves, to see if she wants anything more from him.

Then, dizzy, he flies up into the night air as far and as fast as he can to release his painfully-held breath in a rather vehement, "Eww!"
