[Pre-Milliways: Brimstone summons his errand girl.]
There's a new face in the bar today.
For all that she's new, she doesn't look terribly surprised by her surroundings. Karou is rarely taken aback to find herself somewhere wholly different than the place she has recently left behind. It is part of her job, after all.
Karou doesn't try to hide or blend into the crowd, either. Not with that hair, not with the bulging satchel at her side. She moves confidently through the room until she finds a table to her liking and sits, ordering coffee from a wait rat after only the briefest of pauses. The rats don't seem to bother her at all.
How strange.
