There is a pair of tall, black skinned elves at one of the longer tables. One is in armor,metal and spidersilk, fully armed. He's relaxed, but is clearly trying to see if there is anyone he knows in the Bar.

The second dark elf is in lighter traveling gear, leather and fabric. He's talking to his companion, a pale skinned, golden haired elf in green and silver armor.

They're sharing the table with a young elven woman with (for now) dark hair, clad in elaborate, expensive Tudor dress. She seems to be playing with a sort of mist very moodily. She's had a fairly annoying day serving as a handmaiden to the Princess Mary Tudor, and is feeling somewhat rebellious.

She's making things out of the mist right now...for a given value of 'thing', since she specializes in living constructs. She's got a fairly large stock of it, but she will eventually run out.

Apparently, they all came in through the same door, this time around.

(Botherable. Slow time, though.)

A Boy bolts through the door grinning from ear to ear and a can of paint still in his hands, he has paint splatters all over his face and clothes. Iruka Sensei won't find him here... will he?

Oho! Zak smiles at him. "Naruto, welcome back."

Naitachal, having met Naruto before, when he'd had to distribute gifts to people Zaknafein liked, raises his eyebrows in surprise. The boy is smaller than he or Eliathanis remembers.

It's like that previous time with Zaknafein's arrival from the past.

"What in the world have you been doing?"

Naruto grinned.

"Nothing!"

The mischievous grin didn't leave his face.

Now it's Zak's turn to raise both of his eyebrows in skepticism, though he chooses to change the subject. "Would you like to put down your painting supplies and eat with us? We can order some dessert and ramen."

Naitachal murmured to Eliathanis, "I'd wager a gold piece he's been up to mischief. Defaced a monument, piece of statuary or someone's house, perhaps?"

Rhoslyn is eyeing the boy with clear interest; being a sidhe, she has a soft spot for children, thus she picks up on Zak's suggestion, and calls a waitrat over.

The creature's clearly been to this table before, as it recently cleared it of the group's light snack, taken earlier while Zak and Rhoslyn were trying to hash out a trading agreement. Of sorts.

Ramen and dessert and a seat at the table. If Naruto wants to.

Naruto grinned and nodded his head. He then plopped himself happily in a chair and looked around at the other people.

"Zak-san, who are your friends?" he asked.

"The one with the same dark skin as mine is named Naitachal. He is an ally. His blonde friend is called Eliathanis, and the lady in the formal clothing is named Rhoslyn." Zak explains. "We're closer to being business partners, rather than friends."

The waitrat, as requested, brings over a lot of ramen, and a wide selection of sweet pastries with jams, creams, custards and jellies for filling as dessert.

Rhoslyn, Naitachal and Eliathanis poke their ramen with spoons, as they've never seen it before. Naturally, they ask for forks, and look at the chopsticks with confusion.

It has probably been a grand dog's age since anyone spotted Beauford down in the Bar proper. To be fair to all parties involved, he hasn't actively been making friendly on his way down to the garage for exercise.

There's also the positively acidic looks he gives the wall where the Door usually pops up to consider as well.

Oh dear, Beauford doesn't look happy at all; this does not bode well.

For a moment, Zaknafein is uncertain of what to say. "Greetings, Beauford."

Naitachal, who fondly remembers Beauford's sweet icy concoctions, decides to offer the metaphorical olive branch. "You look like you need a drink."

By which he means, something cold and alcoholic.

...well at least he's stopped glowering the moment that he registered someone talking to him.

"Zak, Nait.... you know that sounds like a really good idea right now."

Another Dark Elf is seated at a table not far from theirs. It's a while before he even notices them, but eventually, he looks up from his alchemy work.

"Well," Garyn mutters, setting down his pestle. "This is a first."

A tall green youth—in a teal, not blue, uniform—is wandering somewhat aimlessly through the bar, reading from a book on wedding planning and talking to a small, colour-coordinated nautilus which flies after him. After the nautilus trails a text window which fills up as Enzo speaks.

what are you supposed to be?

Huh. Grey skin, rather than black; still, the two dark elves cast wary glances at the speaker.

Dark elves from the worlds where they come from generally can't be trusted.

"A first for what, exactly?" Naitachal asks, brows lifted; shifting in his seat.

Zaknafein's hands drift closer to his weapons, but he doesn't unsheath them, remembering the Bar has a no-fighting rule. Instead he brings them back up to the table.

He is at a table with a necromancer, an unseelighe sorceress capable of battle magic and a fellow armed warrior. He knows, logically, that he shouldn't feel so much on edge.

He'll let Naitachal do the speaking for now.

"Take a seat. We have plenty of room here. What kind of liquor would you like?" Zak asks.

"Do you think I can ask the Bar for a list of available wines or liquors from my home world?"

Because if what he remembers is true, then the surface world had a lot more variety in drinks than the mushroom wines of his home. It might be interesting.

And Beauford looks like he would welcome something else to think about, other than whatever it is that's on his mind.

"Never seen more than one elf in the same place here," Garyn says. "Much less dark elves."

He begins the crushed and powdered mixture from inside the mortar.

"Though you look a bit different than the Dunmer I'm used to. I suppose this is the part where you tell me you're from a world I've never heard of and have no idea what elves are."

"The alcohol that comes out of the Tei Ceti system can't be beat, but I think today...I'll be up for anything new."

"Well, you're half right." Zak relaxes. "Completely different worlds, yes. that fits."

Okay, you're not a drow. You're a Dunmer. Whatever that is.

"We're definitely still elves, though." Naitachal adds. Eliathanis looks over his shoulder to see what got the attention of the two dark elves.

"Technically, we're _all_ elves, at this table."

"Never heard of it." Zak says, with the slight tilt of a head, before quietly asking the waitrat for a list of the drinks from his homeworld. "I'm fairly sure drow mushroom wine won't agree with human digestive systems, so I'm just going to ask for a list of surface liquors. Hope you don't mind?"

The requested list arrives, and Zak's eyes widen at how many liquors are listed on it. "Well. This is going to be _interesting_."

Faerie Dark for now, then. It is rumoured that this sweet liquor is brewed by dark elves. While Zak can attest to the fact this _wasn't_ on his House's table, the fact the rumor is written on the list with the liquor description amuses him enough to order it for you.

Well, that and the fact it's not made of venom or a mushroom of any sort.

(Also, if it makes you tipsy, you glow with faerie fire until you sober up.)

"Greetings, Enzo. Who's getting married?" Zak asks, eyebrows raised.

When the waitrat returns with the liquor bottle and several glasses for it to be served with, Beauford's the one to carefully decant the bottle and give it a moment to breath. You treat good alcohol with respect if it pays your rent.

"Prost!" He declares, holding up his own small glass of Faerie Dark in a sort of communal toasting gesture.

"So it would seem," Garyn says. "There's few enough of us about here."

He scoops the last of the mixture into a pouch.

"Where do you hail from, then?"

"Underhill." Rhoslyn tilted her head to get a better look at the new elf. Her pale skin matched with Eliathanis' complexion, but their clothing didn't.

"The Underdark." Zak said, glancing at Naitachal. It's apparently his turn next.

"Eliathanis and I most recently came from Underhill, though our respective homelands are further away than that." Naitachal doesn't mention the name of his home city and a hand on Eliathanis' own stops the pale skinned elf from speaking.

"Both Zaknafein and I come from cavern cities." he surmises. "And unpleasant ones, to boot."

No names for them. One wonders if it's because no one ever named the world they were on, or if they simply don't want to talk about it.

Well, Zak certainly doesn't know the meaning of the toast, though he raises his own glass in response, as do the other elves in their turn.

Naitachal has managed to ask for a copy of the list from a waitrat after he took his own glass and is perusing the list with Eliathanis and the curious Rhoslyn.

"Dragon's blood?" he laughs softly. "Am I to assume the wine is only named such because it's actually made of dragon blood, or is it merely named for the taste or the kick?"

It's a very long list. Zak's starting to wonder if he shouldn't try everything on it that he's never had before.

Well, eventually.

(OOC: Looking up the DND wine and liquor lists. Man, that's a looooot of liquor. XD)

"Zak! Hi! Um, me, actually. In a while."

(Zak= ._. wat.)

Aaand Zaknafein is deeply confused. Looks like he missed out on a lot.
"May I congratulate you on your impending matrimony and ask who the ah... spouse to be, is?"

He really kind of did.

"Thanks. It's not that impending, though, the plan's a long engagement. Did you ever meet Dani? Danielle Fenton?"
