It's not that she was surprised at the amount of paperwork and oversight running a keep -- and an Arling -- would require.
But must all of it be done at the same time?
The answer, according to Anora appears to be 'yes'.
Which is why Ysalwen is settled at a table with tomes, scrolls, and parchment all around her, head bent over the last five years' worth of winter stores for both Arl Eamon's Denerim estate, as well as the castle.
It's -- well. Once she's made it through more than one winter's worth for comparison, it should hopefully be illuminating.
In the meantime, more wine.
At least she has Liranan to keep her feet warm.
