"No. Way." Charlie kind of freezes when she walks through the door, because what. What. While she's still staring, one of the waitrats approaches her to tug on her worn-out jeans and hand her an information pamphlet.

"...Am I a Disney princess?" she blurts out. (Animals are walking up to her and helping her. That seems like a pretty Disney Princess thing to happen.) But okay. Who is she to deny small fuzzy creatures helping her out? She reads the pamphlet.

This? Is. Awesome. She's kind of not sure what to do first. The urge to run around and see everything is definitely there, but on the other hand, free food. She kind of hasn't eaten in... uh, yesterday. Which is cool. It's like a fast. She's fasting to get the creative juices flowing while she brainstorms ideas for her new costumed identity. It's artistic and monk-ish and oh god she is so freaking starving, she needs burgers STAT.

So yeah, the first thing she does is sit down at a booth and order a giant burger and fries and a milkshake. And while she's waiting, she's kind of attempting to dry-clean off her Bat symbol t-shirt, because she just noticed there's a funky stain at the bottom hem and ew.

There was a guy who was still very very new, and discovering things that are interesting, but he can't get the question out of his head, "What is a Disney princess? What is a Disney, for that matter?" ever since that girl blurted it out a few moments ago. So, he has approached her. He was of average height with blond hair, a decent build, and blue eyes. His pointed ears are hidden under a knit cap that he pulls down every once in a while. And his clothing is a rather interesting mix of primitive and not so primitive styles.

"Uh, can I ask you something?" he asked.

Quentin's hungry, Toby would point out that he's always hungry but there's been more unpacking and soon more training, its tiring.

His bronze hair is a little sweaty which makes his ears stick out as he walks by her table and stops, "I didn't know she made burgers that big."

Jay comes up from the garage, looking mildly thunderous. Stripped back to grey wife-beater, oil-stained jeans and combat boots (and a shed lot of scars), he looks somewhat disreputable.

The angry burn on his upper arm doesn't help.

He grabs an ice pack and a shot of coffee from the bar, grumbling to himself.

Holding the ice pack to the burn, he scans the bar, spotting her. "Nice shirt."

[OOC: Okay, so this is a day late and I'm going to be afk from tonight through the weekend at a con, so please feel 100% free to ignore this or aim for a short thread with a quick wrap or whatever! But I couldn't resist.]

There's a young woman only a year or two older than Charlie looking bemused at her.

The young woman is, for the record, wearing a dress that may in fact look rather Disney Princess-like. There are layers of petticoats. There are poofed-out sleeves. There's a corset underneath and a decorous bit of lace here and there. It looks more or less like this, at least in general terms. She isn't wearing a bonnet, which just shows better the fact that her light hair is in face-framing ringlets around a (relatively) simple topknot of an updo.

(There are no songbirds tweeting in her ears or perching on her shoulder at the moment. Just for the record.)

Cosette is trying to figure out if the other young woman is brand new, or just.. confusing.

"Yes," a rather tall young man drinking a bright blue milkshake at the bar remarks. "You're a Disney princess."

Beat.

"Congratulations, Your Highness."
