When Jemma comes in, it's clear she's had something of an adventure. Her clothes are dusty (the light blue coat is even rumpled, horrors), her hair has been frizzed by a hot steamy climate, and there's a streak of dirt she hasn't yet gotten around to cleaning off across her forehead.
