Two Exit Posts, Stage Right

Clementine knows she has to face the music eventually, and she's dragged out her stay at Milliways for long enough. At this point she just wants to get it over with, wants to avoid the risk of slipping through the wrong door and getting locked out against her will.

So she asks Bar for some notecards and fills them out:

I'm going back - don't know how long I'll be gone. Keep my stool warm and don't drink all the vodka without me.

Going to serve my time - don't let Sam follow. Keep him from doing something stupid.

Keep the bed warm for me, sailor.

The last she seals with a kiss before turning toward the door and heading out, only her purse and her badge in hand.

Dixie, meanwhile, is finally ready to face down Doc. She only hopes she'll come out in one piece. Brisco knows she'll be waiting on the other side, but for everyone who means anything to her in the Bar, she scribbles down a quick note:

Heading out to talk my ex into turning himself in. Will be back as soon as I can - wish me luck!

She has a steadying drink of sherry before she leaves to take care of business.

[OOC: Two exit posts in preparation of two canon updates, up for reactions! They'll both be back soon for eps. Feel free to react, especially if you think you'd get a note from Dixie or Clem in a situation like this!]

He curses as he gets the note, barely pausing long enough to read the brief message before he goes for the door. The swearing gets louder when it refuses to open for him.

It's... creative. There's a reason "curse like a sailor" became a cliche.
