"Cupid's arrow struck Violet and the friends. One friend suddenly kissed her, and then she suddenly kissed the other friend. A friend she doesn't even like.

"Now she's mortified, and afraid to talk to Bart. I spend a good chunk of time yesterday trying to calm her, and to get her to talk to Bart. I don't know if I got through, but I did my best."

He sighs.
