Asar-Suti pulls Gil close, and nzzles his head to the ex-faun's.

Gil might now have wallpaper paste in his hair as well, but who minds? They will both have a bath in the evening, when buidling is over. And in a few days, they will take their first bath in Gil's new bathtub...

"Nothing makes Loki the god happier than if you're nice to his son," Asar-Suti says. "So I don't think he'll be offended. But if he is, he's not going to take it out on you, that's not his nature."

It might be difficult to comprehend how somebody can deal impersonal mayhem but not exact revenge for being offended, but that is how Loki the god comes over.
