Actually, please don't. Especially if it involves a chainsaw. Just...stare at him, since he's pretty. Or, you know, talk to him. That would work too. Because he just came into the bar and he's sitting just at the end of it nursing a cup of tea.

"Oh, I have. But David didn't go much into your history."

He grins.

"Indeed."

"Ours. I keep out of theirs. Yamino's head might explode."

He laughs.

"I suppose that would be a bit disturbing to have your father join in on cuddles with your fiance."

He pets the baby-soft blond hair.

"Exactly. I know where I'm needed."

He snuggles into Richard.

"These cuddles? Just fine."

He nods.

"Probably because there's a whole bloody lot of it to cover. That happens when you're...well...as old as I am."

"Indeed."

He goes back to cuddling and petting.

Asar-Suti returns to his more usual shape - there are people who might view spontaneous purple conflagrations in the bar with worry.

"I think there is an old Earth tale about a demented knight who tried jousting with windmills..." Asar-Suti says, by way of finding another metaphor for the futility of defining a god of transformation.

"Makes sense. Good to finally meet you, anyway."

"Don Quixote."

"Because I'm not supposed to do that for a while. Go home. It's all right, though. I have everyone I like where I live anyway."

He nods.

"And I you. You seem nice enough. I'm always on the lookout for good people. And contrary to popular belief...NOT to foul them up."

David looks up at him and sighs, too. "Because you know I'm a terrible manwhore at heart?"

Strangely, he's entirely serious.

"Oh. Well, that's good at least."

Liam blinks.

"Huh?"

He rolls his eyes.

"Because I know that that sort of freedom makes you happy. And I know, like with Charlie, that people have part of your heart and you're too wonderful a man to take it back from them. There's nothing the whore about you, David Talbot. You're mine...and I don't take trash."

He leans up and places the softest kiss on Loki's lips.

"You give me more credit than I deserve," he says with a smile in his eyes. "And I love you and more."

"I'm a Trickster god."

"I give you exactly what you deserve," he replies with a grin and another soft kiss, "and I love you more every second I see you. Now stop being an angst puppy and give me a real kiss..."

"Arf," he responds with a wicked little smile before he's pulling Loki down to him, hot mouth on hot mouth.

Love you more than I've ever loved anyone.

Hot and deep and perfect, slow and sweet and everything. Everything.

I have nothing to say, David. You've stolen my line.

He breaks off the kiss before he loses himself in it completely, looking at Loki with nothing but love in his eyes.

"Sorry," he says, grinning only a little. "Don't mean to take your words. Just your heart."

"Ah, I see."

He nods.

"want some cake again?"

"You're a little late for that. You've had it for a while. So unless you're stealing from yourself, that's rather silly."
