[[OOMs: The night before and earlier this morning]]
See, there are reasons Claire doesn't drink often. To see her now, all of those reasons should be obvious. She comes into the bar, wincing at the bright lights and dull chatter. Her hair is pulled back into a sloppy pony-tail and her face is free of any makeup. She did take a shower though, so she doesn't smell like stale whiskey anymore.
She starts to head over to the bar to beg Richard for a mercy-killing when she spots Sawyer sitting by himself in a darkened corner of the bar. He looks, if possible, worse than she feels.
She makes her way over to join him.
