She comes in through the lake door, dressed for riding and with her hair in a long braid down her back... and marsh violets woven into the braid.
As Susan Delgado goes to the bar, it's apparent that soon there will be hot chocolate, as well. Sometimes, it's the little things that bring contentment, say true.
[OOC for Millichannel: Susan and Anthy discuss how to braid hair, which Anthy does not know and which Susan offers to help with; Tony Almeida and Susan are well-met and talk about different worlds, languages, terrorism, military strategy, and oh yes, gunslingers; Roland and Susan discuss Tim's death, Pat Delgado's visit, Joanie, and then Joe's St. Christopher's medal, which brings woe; and then later on, Ace bounces by and shares hugs and the joyful news of Tim's return to the living, for great yay.]

"Good day, Anthy -- long days and pleasant nights."

She begins to carefully twirl her fork through the noodles. "The weather's getting nicer. Were you out riding?"
no subject
And mayhap to think a bit about her father, away from the bar and those in it, but she doesn't mention that.
She takes a sip of her hot chocolate. "What do'ee have there, if ye'd not mind my asking?"
no subject
Susan should be glad Anthy is not in the mood for takoyaki. "It's very good," Anthy says, and swallows the mouthful of noodles.
"What's it like in the forest?"

Susan flushes, then, realizing that she was staring a bit. "Say sorry, sai-- I didn't mean to be rude, say true."

There's an empty stool nearby, and she hesitates, not wanting to be even more rude, yet clearly wanting him to be comfortable. Finally, she essays,
"Would'ee like to sit down and talk a bit, mayhap?"
no subject
He glances at the stool.
"Yeah. I shouldn't be walking around on this foot, anyway."

"I'd hope ye'd feel better soon -- how did'ee hurt it, if ye would not mind me asking?"

And Susan realizes, suddenly, that Roland may not know about some things.
"-- considering everything," she finishes awkwardly, looking at him for some sign.

...
An Ace comes bouncing back, and hugs Susan fiercely.
Then she bounces some more. Energetic, isn't she?
"He's back! And alive! But who cares, he's back!"
no subject
"Do'ee-- ye can't mean--"
"--yer Tim?"
no subject
"He!"
Bounce.
"Came!"
Bounce.
"Back!"
...
Sedation might be in order, here.
She's smiling so broadly it's a miracle her face doesn't split at the ears.

"And alive?"
Her answering smile is bright and shining, oh aye, as hope begins to dawn.

"Oh, Ace, it's -- aye, ye say true, it's a wonder and no mistake!"
