Wolf helps post-torture Ron and celebrates with Garion (not at the same time)
Wolf comes out of the kitchen, wiping his hands on his pants.
He's been wearing modern clothes more often lately. He likes them. Therefor, he is wearing very dark blue Dockers, and a red t-shirt.
He's also been working more often lately.
No, no particular reason why. No, it doesn't have anything to do with Tim's death.
Anyways.
Wolf comes out of the kitchen, wiping his hands dry on his pants, and decides to order a glass of water.
He hasn't been quite as hungry lately, either.

usually. This warrants saying because what Garion does a second after the world chocolate pops out of Wolf's mouth is very close to it and really, that mistake shouldn't be made for the dignity of wolves everwhere*""Chocolate!""
*nuzzlenuzzlenuzzlenuzzle triumphant howl*
""Sounds good. I'll switch back in a minute but the rubbing feels nice and I'm in such a good mood.""

bouncingplayfulness before he finally bounds off towards a table, appearing as a boy again as he sits properly in the chair, the largest of smiles on his face*I'm acting like an Arend, I'm so pleased.

Quirking a brow, with a bit of a smirk, Wolf asks, "And just what is an Arend, Gar?"

They're a country full of rather...passionate people. One of my best friends, well, two of them, really, are from there and...well, let's just say that they don't look before they leap.
*he smirks*
Sometimes they don't even notice they should be leaping and just keep going.
*and finally he looks to Wolf*
A very emotional people. Sweet and kind and courageous and passionate...but they don't think very much and it's caused a lot of problems on all sides.

The rat comes back, and with a friend. They're carrying a large dish. An ice-cream dish. An ice-cream sundae dish. And yes, that would be chocolate ice cream. With chocolate syrup, and a little bit of whipped cream on top of the very top of the pile, and one perfect maraschino cherry crowning the confection.
Thanking the rats, Wolf picks up the dish and sets it on the table, then brandishes two spoons, mysteriously from nowhere. There is just a hint of twinkle in his glittery green eyes.
"This, Gar, is called an ice-cream sundae. Virginia showed it to me. And it's very, very tasty. And contains lots of chocolate."

And I'm assuming it's the sort of thing you serve for a celebration then?
*there's a twinkle in his blue eyes*

He hands over a spoon.

Why wouldn't one? Chocolates one of the best things about being here. Well...not one of the best things, but it's certainly a nice bonus. I'd never had it before I came.
*he digs the spoon in and takes a bite...and nearly howls in human form*
That...is really really good.
*he grins at Wolf*
Thank you. This is just great.

Wolf just smiles and starts eating. Not quite as fast or as much as Garion is, though. My, how that boy does love his chocolate.

And wipe that smug look off your face.

I think if I have any more this fast, I'm going to get one of the headaches you can get from the shakes...but worse. But it's really really good.
*he smiles at Wolf*
I'm really glad I met you here, Wolf. You've been...you've been like family. Pack. I can't tell you how much better it's been because of you. To be honest, I've...never really been this alone before. There's always been Aunt Pol or Grandfather or someone and now it's just Ce'Nedra and me...except there's you and Virginia and I'm really thankful for that.
*he looks down a little sheepish*

"My family was taken from me when I was eight years old." His words are soft, but there is some amount of peace when he speaks them. "Virginia was the first person who ever cared. And then I came here."
Wolf scoops a normal spoonful of ice cream up, and looks at it for a moment. Then his gaze flickers back up, dark green meeting blue.
"It's nice to have that feeling of pack; to know someone is there." He smiles warmly. "You can't tell me how much better it is, but I know, just the same."

I just had Aunt Pol. My parents were killed in a fire when I was a baby. I never really knew them. But I always had Aunt Pol...and later on, I got Grandfather...and occasionally Grandmother. And...
*he looks a bit sheepish*
If you should ever need a safe place to go, a home after this place...you are welcome in Riva, in my country. Welcome to raise your children and live peacefully in the Citadel.

"Thank you!" Ever since he talked to Tim about Ron's idea, he's been unsure about what to do. If only Tim were here. Or maybe somebody else from Ron's world that Wolf could talk to.
