Here goes...

Well, he thought that he'd be fighting some sort of Dark Jedi or learning something about his destiny. Really, that's what one would expect to see when they enter an abandoned Temple on Yavin IV--a vision. He knew that he certainly needed a vision.. he was more confused about his fate than ever, and some guidance would be nice.

He did not see a vision, however. He emerged in some sort of building, though he could identify nothing of the architecture. The smell was rather unusual too. It was a lot brighter than the dark temple he had emerged from, and he squinted to try to make out anything. His hand went reflexively to his lightsaber, before he scolded himself. No, he had sworn away violence for the time being. Whatever threat was in here, he would meet it peacefully.

The problem was, he didn't have any idea where here was.

[summary: Jacen Solo makes his entrance into the bar and runs into several characters.

First, he meets his brother, Anakin, who appears to be different than Jacen remembers. This isn't pursued, though, because...

Jaina Solo arrives. She's Jacen's sister, and she has some difficulties meeting him. After an extended period of trying to get through her emotional shields, he discovers that she thought he was dead. He's evidently alive, but there's a problem: he's four years younger than she remembers. This Jacen Solo is one from a slightly earlier time.

He also runs into Valentine Skywalker, who is playing the role of a sensuous waitress. Not aware that she's his aunt, he falls for her tactics until he realizes that there is something strange about her. The fellow empaths hit it off rather well and begin a discussion on their mutual outlooks on life.

Finally, he meets Anakin Skywalker, his grandfather. Jacen's always wanted to meet him in order to ask him philosophical questions, so the two of them begin a dialogue on the nature of the Force.]
