*The air near the bar shimmers and parts, and Moiraine appears. The Aes Sedai's eyes are very dark indeed, but her manner is carefully composed.
In her hair is nestled a tiny peacock, like a living jewel. Milton, at least, seems content.
She accepts a cup of tea from the bar, along with a dish of birdseed, and takes both to her usual table.*
