Not as a rule, no. I'd imagine they have rather limited conversation, and they probably have very different names to the ones I've given them so there would be terrible confusion, you know.

Well there're a nesting pair called Argus and Dolores, a drake called Francis who's something of a loner, Freddy Duck which was... a spoonerism on something yelled by a lout at a passing student... Elsie and Daisy, who are rather difficult to tell apart, and of course Millicent and Jeremiah, the swans.
