There was no door leading to where she'd come from, escaping Hell wasn't that easy after all. She remembered the searing pain in her wrist though, John smiling at her as he pressed the Rhapsody into her dead flesh and saved her. Redemption...not a word she'd ever thought could be as sweet as this...
Though...where was this?
She drew a shuddering breath and looked around, numbers immediately popping to life before her gaze. The face of a clock, barcodes on beer bottles, chair legs...all of them whispered to her, and they said "Not in Hell...not in Heaven...dead dead dead but saved"
Well...she was feeling pretty good for a dead girl, and she'd never believed she'd see Heaven anyway...so this place was just right. The tattered remains of her fishnet and jeans still carried the scent of brimstone and blood, but she didn't care.
She was free.
...and she'd kill for a cigarette.
Tilly had come to Milliways.
