Roland makes a slightly sour face at Jayne's name, but silently steps through the door; Eddie pushes Susannah through.
The moment his head intersects with the plane of the door there's a soundless flash of light and he reels away from the door.
MOTHERFUCKER THAT HURT.
He presses two fingers to his forehead, gaping.
"Eddie?" Susannah's voice sounds faraway...and a little scared, almost, at least to him, knowing how to read her as he does.
