Charles eyes the woman, the gun, and then the woman again, and politely meets her gaze.

"Excuse me, Mme, for I am being rather presumptuous, but I do not think that it is a good idea for you to be ready to fire off that gun. There is a strict no-violence rule here. And besides, no-one will hurt you here."
