Roland and River are at the bar. River is blankfaced and unresponsive. Roland requests two pieces of paper, on which he writes notes to Simon and Eddie.
Simon,
River and I have gone into the Dreaming. You know how to contact us, should the need arise.
It'll help.

Eddie. What I told you about Anthy -- River's fashed, and greatly so. I'm asking Moiraine to take us into the Dreaming, to see if it helps. Let them know.

And then...then Roland nearly writes another note, but pauses.
Check upstairs, first.
River's hand in his, they go up the stairs
