Tony needed quietness.
Therefore, he went out for a walk today, trying to clear his head. He’s back indoors now, eating a small bowl of soup and searching for a certain brunette he knows.
No, her name isn’t Nina Myers. Or Mandy/Miranda, for that matter, although both have been occupying his thoughts. He had forgiven, or had at least resigned to understand Nina, even though he didn’t want to. Could he do the same for Mandy? Or Saunders? Or any of the other people who had hurt him, his friends, and innocents, if they clearly showed signs of reform?
It’s almost enough to make a guy wish there was an easy button. That way, he could make things happen the way he wanted and see people in the light he wanted to without having to worry about delays, misfortune, reformation or any other curveballs.
He needs to talk to someone, but he’s not sure who would really listen. Or understand.
