Aeryn is curled up near a booth. She's sitting on the floor, because someone told her people don't notice you as much that way. It's obvious she hasn't been crying. She's so tensed that any act of kindness is certain to make her lash out. Because she just never thought....What if they never let me see him again? She placed her head in her hands. Feel free to kick her while she's down.

Her eyes are soft as she watches the other woman. They fall breifly to the floor as the whiskey does.

"And now I might have lost him."

"What?" Amanda sounds shocked and horrified.

"I had a disagreement with his godfather and then Richard, his adoptive father, came over."

She was very cryptic when she wanted to be.

"And now I don't know what's going to happen."

"Thank you for listening." Aeryn tipped the whisky back into her mouth and stood up.

"I must be going." She couldn't afford to break right here, right now.
