Sameth enters with a sheaf of papers that he takes up to Bar and starts a conversation with her about converting his notes into something that Fives can use. Partway through the conversation, a datapad appears with projections of the taken apart droid hand, diagrams of Lirael's hand and Sameth starts manipulating the image. He didn't realize that this kind of view was possible and soon he's taking notes on parchment while also playing with the projection.

At a later point, there's a note for Fives along with the datachip full of information. ( Fives )

Wilford is pissed. He's also spiteful as hell.

Which is why he did not reset immediately after Barry superhero sucker punched him. Oh, no. He went to the ER, sat in the waiting room in pain, endured being poked at and blasted with radiation. All for a hospital bill with way too many digits, even after insurance paid their share.

This bill is waiting with the Bar, along with a note for one Barry Allen.

The note has only two words.

And with that, Wilford goes home to reset because he is not enduring a broken jaw for the third time.

[ Millitimed to New Year's Eve and New Year's Day: Emcee's penthouse get-together and party at Wonderland. (Threads still in progress. Part III to come.) ]

On New Year's Day, the door opens, and Emcee, wearing nothing but a silk kimono-style robe and smudged make-up, shuffles in carrying two large plastic containers. Each one contains an equal mix of food from his party: sweets like marzipan, gingerbread biscuits, and chocolate-covered marshmallows, jelly-filled pastries and squares of apple strudel and honey and custard cake; and savoury treats like potato latkes, vegetable tarts, and a variety of bite-sized sausages, cheeses, and crackers.

One container is for Bonnie with the note: Dearest Bonnie, thank you for coming to my party. I hope your family enjoys these treats from Germany!

The other container is for Guppy: My dear Doctor, thank you for the prosecco! I was sad to miss you at my party but overjoyed to hear that you have welcomed a new child into your family! Congratulations, and happy snacking.

After leaving these items at the bar for their respective recipients, Emcee shuffles back through his door to sleep off the rest of his hangover.

At some point during the quiet hours of the night, Wilford heads up to the bar to leave some items. It's a bit early, but he doesn't want one of them in particular hanging around the house any longer than necessary.

Cassian's carrying a folded up tarp as he enters with his jacket pulled tight against the wind that sweeps him in. His current job is leaving him at the mercy of the elements but he can't wear his parka as it would stand out too much.

When he reaches the counter, he writes out a note for Graverobber that he sets with the tarp before turning to search Bar in case he spots Graverobber. With no sign of him the tarp and note are given over to Bar. Then he orders some caf and soup before going over intel on his datapad, the Empire seems to be doing a number of trials to take mines and he's wondering why.

Cassian wasn't planning on being back in Milliways so soon after the party, its not even been a week on his side of the door. Though with his ribs still hurting and how uncomfortable his recon is being, he's glad of a change of scenery.

He's on one of the couches with a good view of the room, using a pillow to stay in a not too painful position as he works on his datapad. The painkillers from Bar are helping a little, so he's sipping a caf and at times glancing up at Tentacles of Our Waves on the TV. All the squids are gathering for a grand occasion, Cassian hasn't been able to figure out what it is yet.

Later in the day, when he goes up to get something to eat, Cassian leaves a note for Barry.

Baze strides up to the counter and sets two datasticks down. He orders a datapad, and types out a carefully-worded note, and then asks Bar to deliver all three items to one Lyra Erso, should she ever enter Milliways. He has a cup of decaffeinated tea, and then heads back to his room to sleep.

Oh, damn it. Why couldn't Bodhi just have gotten a wait rat to leave a note for Galen? Nooo, he had to have Baze do it. That's ridiculous, Baze feels.

Forget paper. Galen's not important enough to waste a couple of hours actually writing a note. Baze bellies up to the bar, leaning his staff against it, and orders a datapad.

His fingers fly over the virtual keys, as he wants to be done with this task as soon as kriffing possible. Ugh, ugh, ugh. Why.

Jim is whistling as he walks into the bar, dressed for the beach but carrying a box with a pad of drawing paper resting on top. If he has to come in here every three days for no reason, he might as well do something useful.

He stops at the bar first, because he needs to borrow a coat. Also, he forgot to do something.

That done, he dons the coat and collects a note - which makes him raise an eyebrow, and then look slightly relieved - before heading out to the forge. Even if Teja's not there, he has a very important job to take care of. A man can't get married without a ring, can he?

He'll be back inside later, feeling pretty damn good with life for once.

After a lot of hard work and exhausting patience, everything is finally about to pay off. Wilford hadn't exactly put a lot of thought into how he was going to bring his plan to an end, but things have a way of coming together.

A drop in the ratings after the first few months is normal. The show is no longer new, so the novelty is wearing off. So the producers have been on a mad scramble to boost their numbers. So when Nichola came into the studio this morning to a proposed guest, Wilford could have danced. Instead, he pretended he hated the idea, argued against it, and eventually lost like he always does on these things, whether or not he intends to.

Things have a way of coming together, and things could not possibly be more perfect. The man Wilford has been trailing for years will be on set this Friday. He could not have possibly asked for more.

When Wilford walks into the bar today, it’s with a dramatic new haircut. The sides are shaved close to his scalp, and the top is very pink and a little out of control.

His first stop today is at the Bar, just to see if he's left himself any new notes. Finding none, he writes one for someone else and goes up to his room to grab a box that's much heavier than he had anticipated. There's a lot of evidence here, and Wilford doesn't remember collecting a shred of it. So he takes it downstairs to go over everything by the fire, so he can confront his guest with all of it in front of a live, studio audience.

Jim has been out of sorts since Halloween. Sherlock made things a bit better, of course, but the underlying sensation remains the same and he doesn't like it. This is probably why, as soon as the door opens from Los Santos, his sunny smile drops off his face and he allows himself to stop acting. He doesn't want Sherlock to see it's still bothering him, so maybe an hour or two in here is a good idea.

He's dressed for some kind of work, in torn old jeans and a cheap hoodie. Ideal for moping, really. He leaves two notes at the bar while retrieving a coffee, because he might as well do something useful while he's here.

That done, he slopes off to a sofa by the Window, pulling his hood up over his head and curling up in the corner to watch the destruction. He does vaguely wonder why there are so many kids about, but very quickly decides he doesn't care.

There's an old Ford wagon in the garage that's had a bad experience with a baseball bat and a crowbar. Apparently it offended somebody, because now it has no windows, mirrors, or a single panel that hasn't been smashed to hell. That'll be going on someone's bill.

After he leaves his note, Wilford heads outside to try to burn off some of this uncomfortable, jittery energy. He's still got his baseball bat and has gained big bucket full of baseballs. It's heavy as hell, but he's managed to drag it out to where he wants and is practising his swing. His twelve-year-old frame isn't quite used to a full-sized bat, and the weight throws him off a bit with every swing, but he refuses to go grab one more his size.

Following her chat with Autor, Molly has been out in the grounds to retrieve Wilford's body from where Autor hauled it up onto the shore.

It's not a pleasant job - dead bodies rarely are - but she's seen worse, too. Worse luck.

The body is wrapped securely in a tarpaulin before being hoisted over her shoulder and carried through the bar, to be left in a cell. Baby, obligingly, provides a temperature-controlled environment, to slow the body becoming any more... unpleasant, and blacks out the cell walls to keep anyone else from getting a shock.

Job done, she collects a change of clothes from the Bar, and heads off for a shower: there's something about a corpse's smell that's hard to shake easily.

Back from her shower and sporting a new sky-blue Though she be but little, she be fierce t-shirt, she settles onto a high bar stool to write her note to the rest of the Security Team.

Responsibilities taken care of for the time being, Molly removes her badge - since she wasn't meant to be on duty, and she figures one dead body is enough work for one day - and resumes her interrupted relationship with her bottle of beer.

After this, there's a note for Security - both at the bar, and in the office.

There's a thing running loose upstairs somewhere. It's quick as anything, and basically looks like a bowling ball with one eye in the middle of it, and something sprouting out the top. It came in with Warfstache, and got loose. He doesn't know what it is or what it does, but he was trying to kill it so it probably isn't great to have running wild.

Baze is at the bar, surrounded by crumpled paper balls.

What a waste of precious paper, he thinks, but he wants to get this note right, and writing it has been an exercise in frustration. He doesn't want to write it. He doesn't want anything to do with the recipient. But he's made a mistake, and he feels he has to address that.

Damn his honor.

Eventually, he settles on the proper wording. His handwriting is careful and precise, having been written slowly and with attention to every detail. This is no sloppy note, dashed off in a hurry--no, this is practically chary.
