When Milliways appeared in Sherwood, Will was glad of it as the days have been full and hot.
He heads to the lake where he strips down to his hose, making a pile of the rest of his clothing with his sword and dagger and boots on top before plunging in to the lake.
Then he gets out to lay on the pier with his shirt off and drink the beer he picked up on his way outside.
Once the sun's gone down, he'll head inside and relax by the fire but for now, its nice to be outside where no one is going to appear and try to fight him. Though it does look like there was a major fight here but there aren't bodies which is good.
(OOC: Find him in the lake, by the lake or inside. Open until it scrolls.)

The door showed up two weeks ago today, and since then she's been making notes and watching the weirdness with detached amusement.
(And a little aggravation. But mostly amusement.)
She settles on a rock near the shoreline with her own brew, and arches an eyebrow at the pile of hose.
Oh, hey, eye-candy.
Today just got a little more interesting.

When he sees her, he gives a small bow and heads to a rock near her and the sun, "Good day."

She tips her beer bottle in a salute.
"Yes, it is."
And getting better by the minute.

Her beer reminds him that he didn't stop to get a drink when he came out.

Her eyes sharpen.
She glances over to where his things are, and nods to the next rock over.
"Join me for a drink?"
no subject
He goes over to the rock and reaches down for a beer with a smile and another little.

"Maria Hill."
Beat.
"I travel."
She sips her beer, giving him a long, lingering look.

He's cute. She likes that shy thing.
"I'm originally from Chicago. Ever heard of it?"
no subject
Nottingham has to come first and he takes a long drink of his beer.
no subject
She sobers.
"How does that work?"

"I thought you couldn't go through someone else's door. Security protocol."

He spots Will by the fire, and it takes Clint just a split-second to ID him as the guy who'd been out on the dock when Clint went out.
He makes eye contact, and jerks his chin up very slightly; acknowledgement and potential greeting in one.

"Clint Barton," he says, settling down on the part of the couch nearest to Will's armchair. He leans over and extends a hand, easily.

"Not who you thought?"

He touches his ear after letting go, habitually (it doesn't actually do any good in re-adjusting his hearing aid), before resting his arm on the sofa.
"Where're you in from?"

"United States," he says, easily. "Early 21st century." After a sip of coffee: "I haven't heard of your king."
no subject
Usually he's known but he knows that names and history change.
no subject
He nods. "You've been here awhile, though?" It's almost not a question. The guy seems pretty chill in Milliways for someone from back when they told time in kings.
Then again, technology advanced enough is probably easy enough to encompass in 'magic'.

He doesn't think he's seen Clint around but Clint also seems like someone who's good at not being seen when he doesn't want to be.
