After coming back to Milliways, Iris very quietly asked for a room key - her room key, from very long ago - and went to sleep.
Peace and privacy, for the first time in over a decade.
This morning, Iris woke up and tried to open her Door. It is visible, but the knob doesn't even budge.
Now, several hours later, Iris has asked the bar for some water. The glass remains mostly untouched while she starts composing several letters.

The divinity belongs to a redheaded woman and her mind immediately turned to another she had only heard of so far, luckily. She backs away too quickly, causing her to stumble and fall over backwards.

"Are you alright, daimon?"

She reassesses her situation. The Devourer isn't supposed to be that light skinned. But gods are habitual shapeshifters, aren't they? It would be well within her power.
But the Devourer was a god of the Kharidian Desert. Would she use such a word as daimon?
She tests her wings, but without really getting up. With a few quick wingbeats the fairy drags herself further away from the unidentified goddess.

"I did not mean to frighten," Iris says to the fairy's back.
Perhaps...
Iris allows her wings to show - just a glimmer of gold.

The only god she knows of that had a fondness for wings was... Armadyl. God of Justice and Peace. A romantic.
Naive.
But at least, not the Devourer. Not the Deceiver, who wouldn't reveal such things.
She faces Iris and asks, "who are you?"

"You are new to me here as well. Your name?"

"Is that a bad thing?"

This is new.
Things might be different on other worlds. But the majority of gods don't originate from Gielinor anyway, what difference would it make?
"The gods on my world are at war with each other." Always at war. Even Armadyl, until his heart was broken.
