After coming back to Milliways, Iris very quietly asked for a room key - her room key, from very long ago - and went to sleep.

Peace and privacy, for the first time in over a decade.

This morning, Iris woke up and tried to open her Door. It is visible, but the knob doesn't even budge.




Now, several hours later, Iris has asked the bar for some water. The glass remains mostly untouched while she starts composing several letters.

"Fairy Fixit," she answers quickly. She gets up. "You are a goddess, aren't you?" she asks half afraid and half accusatory.

"I am in my world. A messenger of the gods.








"Is that a bad thing?"

A messenger of the gods. Odd. A social structure beyond just families and allies and enemies.

This is new.

Things might be different on other worlds. But the majority of gods don't originate from Gielinor anyway, what difference would it make?

"The gods on my world are at war with each other." Always at war. Even Armadyl, until his heart was broken.

"The gods of my world play war with each other," Iris offers back, an unprovoked moment of bitterness.

"Even the gods of Peace and Justice war with eachother." She rolls her eyes at the thought of it. Given her large eyes, it is a very impressive eyeroll.
