Seriously?
She got this lost?
The petite girl by the door sighs in frustration through her scarf, digs through the pocket of her pink cardigan, and pulls out a smartphone. She's got GPS or whatever on this thing, right?
..........and there's no service.
"How unpleasant," Kuriyama Mirai mutters as she types a draft for her blog's next rant.
[ooc: Hey, is your pup a vampire or otherwise concerned with blood? Then you might want to look at this PSA. Thank you!]

"Ah, excuse me," he says, pulling out a brochure as he approaches. "Are you new?"

She couldn't even have the luck to slip into some sparse spot, could she? Mirai looks around again. Where in the world did she end up? She tucks her phone back into her pocket.
"I'm sorry, I was...was just leaving...."

"Y-you shouldn't make jokes like that. It's unpleasant."
no subject
He holds up the brochure. "This guide should explain a lot of it."
no subject
She frowns from the first sentence. Okay, this is a joke.
"'The end of the universe?'" she reads off.

Then she's in full-fledged flail mode.
"That is seriously unpleasant!" she screeches.

He stands, straightening his lacy cuffs. "My apologies," he says. "The offer for tea is still open, but we'll have to get it from the rats or the bar--which conjures items magically--if we don't make it ourselves."
no subject
"You're talking about tea?!"
no subject
It has nothing to do with her being cute--a fact he's still ignoring.

"W-why did this happen? How did this happen?"
Before he says anything else, she opens up the brochure to look again, frowning at the lack of answers on the matter.

"'The bar is sentient, and chooses who to pull in', is the answer I've been told," he says sympathetically. "But don't worry. This place is one of many opportunities."

"Ah, at least it's not just my phone," she says, somewhat reassured.
It'd be so unpleasant, getting a new phone only for it not to work.

"Ah! B-but we only just met, and it wouldn't be right for me to just accept something from you, would it?"
But the flustered girl peers somewhat wistfully at the bar counter.

She orders a tray with cookies and all and carries it to a nearby table. "Please won't you join me?"
no subject
Mirai takes her hand back, but only because she's flailing.
"Ah, I'm sorry if I sound rude, using the name your friends use. M-my name is Kuriyama Mirai. Kuriyama-san or Miss Kuriyama or something like that is fine."

"Minx-san, what is this place?" she asks, a bit too overwhelmed to return the sentiment right away even if meeting Minx might be the nicest thing that's happened to her in a long time.
