Tucked away in a quiet corner - a very quiet corner - is Fuchsia, watching the observation window with interest. No longer is there the awe at the sight as when she first saw it, but it still provides enough entertainment, and the perfect backdrop to let her mind wander.

"Nice view. The novae seem a bit restive today."

She peers up at him, expression guarded, and nods. "It gets more active later in the day."

"I'm afraid I don't know Gormenghast. Is that on Earth?" Time was, he would have asked if it were in Europe, but that is too limiting.

"Earth?" She finally asks.

"How long have you been here?"
no subject

"I hope you've settled in by now. But if not, I could try to be of some help. A small part of my job, I think, is helping lost patrons." Barry taps his badge, though whether she knows what it means is anyone's guess.

"I seem to be doing alright so far, but I will think of you if I have any problems. Thank you."

"Were you a student at home?"

"Anyway, I think I should see what else is going on here. But it was nice meeting you." Barry looks around, just a bit nervous about certain things.

The nervousness, if even noticed, goes unmentioned.
