Downstairs, come Serena and Amanda. The vampire has her hood up, while heading to to the lake door.

It is day outside...

She stops, hand on the door... then she nods to Amanda, and prepares to step out.

Amanda braces herself for whatever might come next. Her adrenile pumping fast with excitement. SHe does hope this works.

Serena pushes the door open, and exits to the sun-stricken snowed-in area...

Nothing happens for a bit.

That is actually good.

Amanda follows her outside trying to make sure that she has a clear path back to the bar should she need it.

Srna takes a few steps further out into the sun, concentrating on what she feels... No skin actually exposed yet.

"Well?" is all she can really manage at the moment. Trying not to sound too eager.

"Feels... different." She pulls back sleeves, letting the sun strike her pale hands.

Still, nothing happens.

Still, that is good.

Yes it is very good. And exciting.

"That's good. As long your not smoking." it should feel warm, afterall it's the sun.

After moment longer, she pulls back the hood... "Oh, God..." No smoking. No burning. At least for now.

Amanda smiles, "Wow, that's amazing." because really what else do you say.

The vampire just stands there, enjoying the moment... sun and chill wind, warmth... and feeling once again like a human does.

This would probably come in handy onher world to avoid detection by the hunters.

Amanda just watches and lets Serena enjoy the time. Standing by in case she perhps needs help with anything.

"I feel warm. Not the heat of consumed vitae. But really warm."

Part of Amanda feels as though she should have a notebook and be taking notes. Fortunately she has a great memory.

"That's a good thing."

Serena stays there, enjoying the sun, for a good while... then she blinks... and frowns at something

"What's the matter?" Still not smoking so the concern is on;y hinted.

"Its burning out, your vitae... evaporating, quite fast..." She pulls the hood back up, starting to the door.

It makes sense in a way that the this would endeavor would burn through the vitae more quickly. There is a reason that it is called an experiement.

Amanda follows her back into the bar.

Once again safely inside, Serena crosses arms, almost hugging herself. She was enjoying the sun...

"Are you alright?" Amanda sounds just the least bit concerned.

"Yes... I am." Allright, but maybe not all right.

Oops, Amanda really should stop trying to help people she seem to make things worse.

"Can I get you anything?" normally she would get water or something but Serena is a Vampire so she really isn't sure what to do.

May be strange, but she hugs Amanda. Serena is nicely human warm, and wants the feel to last.

Amanda is taken by suprise but she does return the hug.

"So, it does not last enough." She presses close.

Nodding, "Suppose not." Amanda keeps hold of her, giving what comfort she can.

Perhaps it's a good thing that her paramour is a shrink.

She just stays close, slowly cooling down...

"That was certainaly educational."trying to lighten the mood a bit.

"In a sense, yes..." A sigh, and she lets go of Amanda. "Thank you for your help."

"Your welcome. And thank you." SHe really was risking more then Amanda.

She curtsies, and heads back upstairs. Serena needs time to think...
