A tall, sleepy case of bedhead wanders down the stairs in pajama bottoms. There is grunting and shuffling to the counter, some grunting that might be an order as food appears after it and some grunting that is probably a thank you just after.

Then there's more shuffling towards the couch before the bedhead plops down and starts to eat "breakfast". Bring it coffee and you might get a Darien.

Liam watches this in amusement from his place by the Bar, then wanders over.

And look, there is coffee in front of the bedhead.

The coffee is nabbed by a sleepy hand and, after a number of slurping noises, helps to revive the Darien...who blinks at Liam.

"Morning?"

...he's guessing.

"More or less. How're you?"

He looks up and down himself, hair flopping in his eyes a little before he squints at Liam.

"Awake?"

...we're not quite so sure either, hon.

Liam isn't laughing. Visibly.

"...more or less. Want another coffee?"

A nod before he goes for some more of the eggs and a bit of bacon. Darien is a child of Starbucks and requires at least three cups of sludge before he can function.

Blink.

"Li'm, righ?"

Liam beckons a waitrat and orders a pot of coffee.

"That's right. Hi, Darien."

"Yo."

Bacon.

Liam waits for the coffee and a coherent Darien.

After two more cups, he's a little more there, but still sort of sleepy. He gives a stretch or two before shaking his head like a dog and giving Liam a shakey grin.

"Okay...here now."

Liam grins.

"Welcome to the land of the living."

He rubs the back of his neck, which only makes his hair worse, and rubs at his eyes.

"Yeah...not a morning person. Hell, I barely make 'afternoon' person."

"Hey, nothing wrong with that. I never used to be either, until Megan came along."

Sleepy, rumpled and scruffy curls up on the couch next to him.

One arm goes around the S.R.S. and pops a kiss on his sleepy, rumpled, and scruffy head.

A sleepy smile and a yawn.

"Whaddya got there?" He peers at Darien's plate.

"Food."

Part teasing and part missing brain function due to lack of caffeine.

"Yeah? Hm. Coulda sworn it was a treatise on chaos theory." He steals a piece of bacon.

Blinks.

"How can you--"

...he would say "say something that complicated without three cups of coffee in you" but he's too busy munching a piece of bacon.

Charlie bloodstream is mostly tea.

He looks at Darien innocently and grins.

And steals a piece of toast.

That gets a puppy dog pout and a nuzzle to his shoulder.

"Thief."

"Yes," Charlie says comfortably and offers him the toast.

"Sharing the spoils are we, Robin Hood? Going to show me your etchings too?"

Charlie looks at him through lowered eyelashes. "Do you want to see my etchings, little boy?"

He has absolutely no response to that except to snuggle closer.

"Perv."

He gets a kiss just after, though.
