Edmund wanders in from the House of Arch, settling down at a reasonably visible table not so very far away from Bar, with tea and notebook and sketchbook to keep him busy until he finds one of the more-than-several people he'd like to speak with this evening.
Admittedly, just because he's looking for faces he knows doesn't mean he's unwelcoming to those he doesn't.

Not in a bad way.

"Do I have ink on my face or something?"

"However, the fact that I'm seeing your face at all is something of a surprise by itself. It's been quite some time since I have."

"I think I remember her saying she was planning to go back to your world, for some sort of solstice celebration, but... she certainly does seem to be more active in the community here than either you or I, I suppose."

He smiles and sits down, sipping his tea.
"The winter solstice, yes. It's a lovely festival, really. And it's not really surprising that she's more active here than I am, at least; she is part of Security, after all." His expression darkens for a moment, but he shakes it off and smiles again. "And her Adam isn't from Tortall, so it's only natural she'd spend more time here with him."

Well, given the circumstances of their relationship, and also the way Lucy spent last night, it's unlikely she'd seek him out, but she's also, we'll say, drinking tea. Though she's on the couch, curled up in the corner of it, and looking at the fire thoughtfully.

She's visible, at least, which means that when he sees her he abandons his table in favor of bringing his things over towards the fireplace.
"Is this seat taken, milady?"
no subject
"Not that I'm aware of."

"How've you been, Lu?"
no subject
"Worried about Caspian, I suppose."
Her cheeks are a bit pinker than normal for a moment, and then it passes.
"You?"

"Hullo, Adam. Care for something to drink? Other than tea, I suppose?"
Because for all that it's an open restaurant, there's no reason for Edmund not to be a good host, when Adam is sitting at his table.

It's your night off, I think I'll be fine.
*He grins and takes a seat.*
How've you been?
no subject
"I didn't say I was offering to make it," he says with a laugh. "But I've been quite well; you?"
no subject
really really well.
*And he smiles like he means it.*

"Busy?"
no subject
A bit, yeah. Back and forth between here and Tortall, working, getting yelled at...
no subject
"Do tell," Edmund invites.
