It's been what, two weeks since PeeJee has shuffled into the bar? At least since she helped Kitt get ready for New Year's.

She looks... better! Not good, but better. The spots from the chicken pox are healing up well-- even if it took real will power not to scratch them. Milliways is a welcome break from her apartment, though.

For those interested in appearance beyond 'less pale' and 'not as spotted,' PeeJee is wearing pajamas decent enough to go to the store in-- sweats, a baggy T-shirt, and sneakers, with rather un-done hair.

"You look terrible." It isn't the most polite way to greet someone, but KARR isn't particularly big on tact at the moment. He drives up, his scanner pale as he parks close by.

"You should have seen me two weeks ago. I'm almost allowed to go back to work." Which will be a relief, actually. A vacation just isn't a vacation if you're stuck being babysat and watching daytime TV. "Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and did you get your presents? Kitt was supposed to drop them off for me..."

"Not yet," he says and sighs. "We've had some more important things to deal with lately. Bonnie was shot." It seemed better to just get out it, rather than beat around the bush.

".... Shit. Sweetie, is she okay? Are you okay?"

"She took a bullet in her shoulder, but considering where that idiot woman had been aiming before security tackled her, she's in...well, decent shape. And my system integrity is higher than it was."

"She's seen a doctor or a healer? There's someone... um, whoever made Kitt a girl fixed Eddie's scarring, and I'm beyond sure Ray or Meg knows someone..." PeeJee smoothed a hand over Karr's hood. "Can I do anything to help? Without putting on real clothes?"

"A witch took out the bullet and used some plants on it, and the painkillers seemed to have helped somewhat. Kitt suggested finding a doctor called Guppy Sandhu, but I haven't met him or her yet. And I don't know what you can do-I don't really know what I can do, aside from offer to be a pillow."

"... Gupal Sandhu, but he goes by Guppy. Indian extraction, British accent, around my age if that helps. And there were plans to start an infirmary, but I don't know if they ever got off the ground." No, PeeJee hasn't seen the infirmary-- and she passed out in her bar, not Milliways, so she hasn't needed to visit them, either.

"I'll stay on the lookout for him. Bonnie, Kitt, and I all think she should see an actual doctor, just to make sure things are taken care of properly."

She nodded. "If I remember right, he's pretty contemporary to me. No magic, no scary superscience. But she should probably be on some kind of antibiotics. I think. If they use them to prevent infection." The temptation to ask if he needed a hug was growing.

"It doesn't look infected yet, at least. And she managed to rest, which most likely helped, if only a little."

"Watch it to make sure it doesn't get hot," she offered. "Are you okay?" ... She'd asked that, hadn't she?

"As I said, my system integrity is down, but otherwise I'm fine. It should go up over the next few days." His scanner brightened faintly. "There are some things to be happy about."

There's a blonde at the bar—a very uniquely golden blonde—just drinking her rum and coke and looking relaxed. Of course, she's subtly watching everything and everyone really.

There's some differently unique hair (though not that unique in this place) and it earns a pleasant smile for its owner from Goldilocks.

The faint chicken pox are a little more unusual for Milliways, though, but PeeJee smiles faintly in that 'hey, look at that, we're both in this wacky bar, Perfect Stranger' sort of way, with faint undertones of 'I feel like crap but I am sick to death of One Life to Live and want to KILL THEM ALL stupid fucking soap operas.'

It's a rather expressive sort of faint smile.

Her eyes are sharp, but Goldy isn't quite close enough to establish that PeeJee doesn't just have a poor complexion. She's happy to work on the Perfect Stranger thing though—she's been remarkably social these past few weeks; for her.

"Hi."

In deference to PeeJee's expressiveness, the blonde's greeting is devoid of anything other than the two letters from which it is comprised. Her smile is warm enough though. Fake, but warm.

"Hey." PeeJee has a coke; she's on too much ibuprofen to have a beer. "I don't think I've seen you around before, but then I've been out sick."

"Well then, welcome back," she offers kindly. "I'm Goldilocks. I've been Bound here for about six months now."

"I'm PeeJee," she says, and offers a hand. What? She's not contagious anymore. "You probably get this a lot, but, that Goldilocks?"

She grins and shakes. "That would be me. Well, one version of her anyway. Bears, porridge and much much more."

Much more. "So, have at."

"Just wondered. You're taller than I pictured. Everybody's from something, but it's not often I meet someone who's... so pervasive."

It's probably lucky for her she doesn't remember meeting Snow White. Considering she was blasted out of her mind at the time.

Goldy laughs gently. "Well, I was a mere waif of an eight year in the popular rendition. But you'd be surprised just how many people here haven't heard of me—even a couple of clearly deprived Earth people."

"Hey, I hadn't until we moved back to Canada-- it's a Western story, never would've flown in Singapore." ... Well, except maybe the versions where the bears ate the little breaking-and-entering disrepsectful kid. "Americans, there's no excuse, though."

"One was a mutant phoenix X-girl," she reasons. "I'm not sure she had much of a regular childhood."

The thought of Rach causes her face to drop a little.
