Ray's got an evening shift watching over Danny tonight. He'll be bringing along a couple of new books. The ghost keeps threatening to kill him and making new attempts at insulting his ancestry, but sooner or later he'll find a way to get hold of Danny's friends and start the ball rolling, and in the meantime the whole confinement thing has him twinging with guilt. Hence, books.

For now, though, he really needs to get out of doors, so he's done like he said to Raph last night and opted for daytime running instead of evening. It's cold as anything, but at least he's under an open sky.
