Carl Denham's being drawn to this place.

That's the easiest way to put it. That and Jack's here, and he's worrying that-well? His friend might be even more crazy then he is.

So, Carl has a stack of magazines under one arm, and some apples, and he's looking out for Jack.

But hey, others can tag him too.

Carl nods, "I forgot to introduce myself."

He magicks the card into existence, but it's no magic, just slight of hand.

"Carl Denham. Movie Producer, Director, Jack of all trades."
He hands the card to her.

"Carl Denham." She murmurs, taking the card. She knows that name, she knows she does, but from where? And then it hits her.

"Oh my god you're Carl Denham!"

Carl, Carl beams.

"You've heard of me?"

About, damn time. Someone recognized him.

"Yeah, I have." She's still smiling, but trying to come up with a discreet way to figure out if he's pre or post ape. "That thing in New York was pretty big."

"....yeah well he was a big monkey." Carl sighed, "Fell hard too. But that's not my fault. whatever you might think."

A sigh.

Kate's seen King Kong more times than she can remember. What she thinks doesn't matter. It's what he thinks.

"Oh, no, of course not. How could it be? No one could really control him."

"Thank you!" He slams a palm on his thigh, "That's what I've been TRYING to explain!"

He grins, "Seen any of my other pictures though? The Monkey was one thing but some of my others..."

Are terrible. leave it at that."

"I can't say I've seen anything you directed." She shrugs and smiles apologetically. "But I've been gone from New York for years now. Rely on the news and all that to keep up."

Carl grins, "Yeah? Good news and bad. It's good to get out and see the world though."
