Mal is back for his second straight appearance, but this time with a purpose - he's going out to the stables. He hasn't checked on Tequila in longer than he would like. This is why he's picking up a thermos of cocoa before he goes out in the cold.

He's got a smile on his face though, so if you catch him he'll be in a good mood.

[OOC: will be slow for a bit, but am also working on slowtimes from last night.]

"Yup - 's how I know 'bout horses and all. Won't be near Shadow for awhile, but I remembered what you said 'bout looking for animals for Amy, and figured Ma'd like a new project, so she went huntin'."

Caspian grins, at that.

"Did you? That's right kind of you, Mal."

He takes a sip of chocolate, and then continues.

"Did you see any good prospects? And--well, it's a bit presumptuous, mayhap, but I'd dearly love to come and see them for myself, if you think they might be suitable."

"Shi a - she's got a good mare you might want to think on. But - I'm not quite sure when we're gonna be able to make a stop off on Shadow proper. Kind o'...got into a spot o' trouble last time I was there. Ma does some transport off-world though, so we'll work on somethin'."

Caspian nods.

"Whatever you think best. You've already done so much, and I'm grateful. How can I even begin to thank you?"

Mal waves off the compliment with a somewhat surprised grunt.

"Just...I'm not in the stables as much as I'd like, so what you're doin' already is fine enough."
