[OOM: Mara has a surgery, then wakes up...looking crappy.]

The door opens, and a pale, sallow skinned Mara Jade Skywalker pads through the door in hospital garb, a robe held tightly around her. One sleeve of the robe is bloody, from a ripped out IV.

She looks disoriented, then worried, turning to make sure the door is still there.

She shakily heads to a table and sits. Maybe getting up so soon wasn't a good idea.

He holds his head in his hands now, because it's not he who should feel guilty. And yet!

"Please, don't apologize, just promise that it's over now."

Mara shakily touches his hand, across the table, looking even paler. "It's over now. At least this war."

He smiles wanly and nods. "That's not incredibly reassuring, but it will do. Thank you. I did not mean to be rude."

Mara squeezes his hand softly. "I wish I could assure you no more wars. Tell my son that we're going to come home and be home and he won't have to stay locked away where no one could get him. Sometimes I wish my life had been completely different."

"Oui, I understand that." He agrees ruefully. "Nothing to be done for it now though." Too late.

"No, too late." Mara echoes his thought, eerily.

She swallows and looks at the door. "I should get home. Before I pass out."

"Yes, of course. Take care, Mara."

Mara smiles softly at the use of her name, understanding now why Luke would get so happy when Mara used his. It's reassuring, that people know who you are...and that you're friends or whatever.

"Good night, Montparnasse." There. The name, finally.

She shakily gets him and shuffles to the door, waving over her shoulder once before slipping through. Where she's yelled at by Luke, the Doctor, Jacen and Leia for getting out of bed.

Serves her right.

But they feel bad when she cries and passes out, so they buy her stuff. Like souls.

...Souls. She should have mentioned that. Parnasse could use a few.

She'll bring them in a jar next time she's in bar. With a note that reads "For Montparnasse, Love Mara"

Aww! He'll squee, or try to talk to them maybe. And name them! Then hand them over to Satan.

Yay! I'd like to see Nasse squee. XD
