The count of supraheros (supernatural superhero) in the bar has raised by one. Oh, yes, he's bee sleeping in the rafters this entire time, thanks to the lovely time hopping that Milliways does.

So it should come as no surprise that the man in the mask drps easily to the floor, landing light as a cat on the balls of his feet. After a beginning life in the circus as a trapse artist, anyone could be as graceful as the only surviving member of the Flying Hunters.

Oh, it gets worse. Come talk to him for a bit, you'll see what I mean.

"Ara! Daijobu?" A strangely clad girl dashes forward at the landing, then pulls up short.

"Hunter-san?!"

Hellspawn, for he is most assuredly him, glances over his shoulder.

"Who?"

She pauses, blinking, then bows. "Oh, I'm sorry... you look like a person I know..." Her brow furrows.

"Ah."

A curious glance.

"Who, if I may ask?"

"His name is Tim Hunter. He is a magician."

Tims eyes sparkle.

"A magician? Not an acrobat?"

"Oh, no, I don't believe so. That is, I haven't seen him doing any acrobatics... He casts spells a lot, though."

"I've heard of him. Although, probably not the same one, from what I hear."

He offers her a hand.

"I'm called Hellspawn."

She blinks for a moment, then awkwardly offers her own hand, resisting the urge to bow. "I am Windows 95, OS to the Say True. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, Hellspawn-san."

He shakes her hand, examining her.

"I think I understood maybe half of that. And just Hellspawn, no san."

She frowns. "I'm afraid we're not well-acquainted enough to be so free in speech," she admonishes.

"Does it help any that Hellspawn is as much title as name?"

Cause he's not telling her that one.

She frowns. "Title... I should still speak to you properly, though! After all, it wouldn't look good to be so familiar."

"Well, what does San mean?"

He actually has more expierience at talking around people then our Tim. Lucky him.

"It's what you say at the end of a name," she says, "It is an honorific. There are other honorifics, for different positions. They're used so a person can tell his relationship with another person."

"And what relationship does san imply?"

"An acquaintance, respect. It's what one normally uses, when none of the others apply."

"Yet, you speak english. Why continue to use these honorifics, on people who obviously don't use them, or require them?"

She blinks. "It's how I am programmed to speak." Duh!

"Programmed?"

Now he's confused.

"Yes," she replies simply, "I am an OS, not a human. I was created to manage tasks for a user."

"Ahah..."

He steps back, examining her.

"And how is it an OS has human form?"

"It's the way I was made." She turns a little to give him the full effect, smiling. "It's much cuter than a box, don't you think?"

He blinks several times, then has the rgace to blush.

"My goodness, yes it does. Quite amazing."

She giggles and does her own blushing. "Papa Gates worked very hard to make us attractive for our users."
