Come see the short man in the back booth playing fortune teller with a die. Just the one, six sided. Tossed once, twice, considered. Once, twice, considered again. The pattern one-two seems to be a theme in where they land, too.
He's bored. Happily so, because he's hearing pretty things in the numbers, but still, bored. Do pay a visit.

It doesn't take long before she locates him and walks over. Placing the dish in front of him, "Bon Appetite" looking rather please. (http://japanesefood.about.com/library/weekly/aa053100a.htm) ()

"Considerate of you, many thanks. You're not eating?"
no subject
"Your welcome." Yep Amanda cooked. She is rather good at it.

"Thanks, Amanda. This is really good."
He did need something to eat. Tends to forget quite a bit.

"So what sort of game was that?" because she did notice the dice.

He pulls it out again.
It really is just a simple one. Six sides.
"I dabble."
no subject
"What have they been telling you?"
no subject
"Simple things. Flaming rays of sun. Clearing fog, colour emerging. A variation of Mo, actually. Human in origin. Tibet."
no subject
"How enlightened." it's not sarcasitc, totally. But when she thinks of Tibet she thinks of the monks and the idea of them sitting around rolling dice to tell the future or reach enlightement just doesn't fit.

"Want to give it a try? Think of a question, hopefully not yes or no. Give the dice a roll."
no subject
"Alright. Have one." she rolls the dice.

Two, four.
"Moving forwards. Purpose. Flinging yourself into challenge. Unfavourable to hesitate. Seek responsibility. I'm just rattling off concepts, see if they apply, okay? This is technically all filed under 'the King.'"

"Thank you." look she is smiling.

"Any time, Amanda. Look it up. Mo, Tibetan. Easy to do, if you have a book of meanings, or if you know them."

He hasn't either, but sounds musing. He and Ramon were looking for some place to escape to, after all.
"Have fun on your journey, I suppose."

He waves her off with his chopsticks and a small smile.
"Have fun."
