Nick wanders down, a little sleepy for all that he's had plenty of sleep. He's off his usual cycle, but he'd noticed a lack of something in his bed and decided that this warranted investigation. The note explains all when he gets it, though, so he simply settles down for a cup of dinner at the bar counter and hopes to see a friend.
