Sally's around, working on some knitting. Her sweater, it seems, has four arms. Intentional, most certainly. She's also got her bag, a gift from Clive. She's in a lovely mood, ready to meet new people!

Like a Jack? Because there's a Jack around, reading a book.

Sally looks over, trying to discreetly read the title of the book.

That's new... maybe it's a human book that Jack hasn't borrowed yet.

She pricks her finger.

"Oh. Bother." She shakes her hand.

Jack looks up.

"I beg your pardon?"

Sally looks back at him, her cloth eyes wide with Uh Oh.

"Oh, nevermind. It's nothing." She shows him her thumb that got pricked.

"See, no blood."

She pulls the last bit of thread through to secure, then sets down the sweater.

"What's that book you're reading?"

"Oliver Twist by Charles Dickens."

"It is a human book, then? Is it very good?" She cocks her head to one side, staring at Jack.

He nods. "Of course. It's very good."

Sally nods, then makes an "oh!" sound and facepalms.

"I'm Sally. I'm sorry I didn't introduce myself before!" She offers Jack a hand.

He closes his book and takes Sally's hand in his. "Jack Driscoll. Nice to meet you."

"Jack.." Different Jack, yes. He's got skin after all. And five fingers.

"Nice to meet you too! How long have you been here Jack?"

"A few days."

"I've been here at least a month. This is a very nice place, the wait rats are so sweet-natured! And most of the people are nice... except there's one boy here, I think- Gabe is his name? - He's got a bad attitude. He reminds me of Lock Shock and Barrel. Oh! If you meet them, run. They are absolute brats, and they hurt people!" She shakes her head, annoyed.

"I certainly hope they don't arrive. Poor Bar."

"What do they look like?"

"One is dressed as a witch. That would be Shock. The other two are boys, Lock and Barrel, dressed as a devil and a skeleton. They aren't actually a witch, devil and skeleton, I mean, Barrel has skin for goodness sake, but they like to pretend. They work for Oogey Boogey. They're terrible little beasts, they like tricks more than treats!"

This is going over Jack's head--a feeling he's quite familiar with, being in this bar. "I'll keep my eye out for them."

Sally nods. "But other than those three, I'm certain everyone here is rather harmless. There is a very nice creature here named Yrael. He sometimes looks like a cat, but he isn't. And I don't think he likes being called a cat either. I think he likes to be called Bright Shiner. Oh! And there's Clive. He's lovely! He wears dresses, though, so I don't know if he's a real boy or a girl that looks like a boy."

This place fascinates Sally, s'why she's rambling.

"Oh, but Jack! Where did you come here from?"

O...tay...

"New York City."

Sally has possibly heard of this place.

"Is that in America? or England?"

"America."

And as mun smites her internet connection, Sally nods and turns back to her knitting.

"Would you like me to knit or sew anything for you?"
