[OOM: A moment's thought]
Not far from where Moiraine recently appeared, another gateway opens in a vertical line of golden light, expanding outward. The scene of a dark bedroom appears on the other side, and through steps Rand, clad in dark breeches and a loose fitting shirt. The gateway snaps shut behind him as he's taking in the room, looking around searchingly. He seems to catch himself, closing his eyes, then relax a bit. Moments later the glow about him fades out.
He visibly sighs in relief, and opens his eyes again.
Then he sees the figure of Moiraine not a few feet away from him. Blackened shoulder.
He quickly dashes forward.
