Here we see the Venus Adept in something like one of his natural habitats: the forest's edge.

This specimen, code-named Felix by researchers, is sitting against a tree and meditating to renew his connections with the earth.

He is also giving those subtle signs that indicate he would not be averse to conversation.

Amanda is currently playing in the tree's. She doesn't have the enthusiasm and energy that she usually does but it is helping a little. She didn't however mean for the snow that she displaced from the branch she just landed on to fall onto Felix, it just sort of happened.

If Felix were the type to do so, he'd be shaking his fist and shouting 'oy' before he looked to see the cause.

Instead he shakes the snow off and looks up.

"What's wrong?"

Hearing the voice she looks down and notices what happened, "Oh Felix I'm sorry." with a few swings and flips she is back down on the ground next to him.

Felix is impressed at the display of agility.

"Don't worry about it. You don't look like you're at your best; what happened?"

Taking a seat, "A friend of mine has moved on to the afterlife." she kees her suspicions that her friend is in Hell to herself. Honestly too depressing of a thought to verbalize at this point.

Yes there is more but that is the only one that seems to not be changing. The other probalems are working themselves out as they always do.

"How are you doing?"

Wordlessly Echo approaches her, in case she needs to pet.

"Not too bad, considering that I'm still Bound."

[OOC: For my part, I'm still almost-squeeing at meeting Merriman the other night.]

[OOC: lol. I understand how that goes.]

Petting is good and much needed which is why her hand finds it's way to Echo wordlessly and starts said petting. Amanda is only vaguely aware of this action.

"Well it's nice to see that you've calmed down. I am sorry about disrupting your meditating. Not many people spend time out here during these winter months."

"Not to worry, I can meditate whenever. This isn't too much colder than how Prox should be at the moment from which I come."

"So what have you been up to these days? Met anyone interesting?" hey looko standard chit chat. For a moment one might have thought she forgothow.

"Well, there was the big blue furry man, and Merriman Lyon, and not long before I left there was someone named Belgarion who had a lot of titles. And you?"

Amanda smiles, "I'm guessing the big blue furry man was Hank." because really how many even in Milliways can be described that way. "He is a sweety."

She has to think hard, "Well I've met a couple more vampires, a werewolf." she is having to think very hard, "Guess I haven't really been particularly social lately."

"Yes, I think he said that was his name."

Felix blinks. "Vampires? I'm not familiar with the term. And I suppose if your friend died you can't be expected to be particularly social."

"Most vampires feed off of human blood. There are a number of different versions of vampires in the bar. They are undead, another type of immortal." she is trying to figure out how to best explain it.

"Ah, so a little bit like the Skeletons and a couple other types of monsters, combined somehow."

At the mention of Skeltons Amanda shudders. "Sort of." it's all she can manage as she fights the images of blood soaked Skeletal hands.
