It's amazing how a person can lose four months, if he doesn't need food or water or sleep.

Regulus Black appears in the bar, a smile on his face. Good to be back.

Hey, anyone she gives a postcard with a pineapple on it deserves a smile.

"Hey," he says, smiling back. "How've you been?"

"Oh?"

"I married a prince, called Arithon - short, dark, green eyes, do you know him? Well, he is the last of his line, so a sorcerer from his world offered me the chance to be human, so we can have children."

"... huh."

He grins.

"Congratulations, then."

She grins.

"Grazia. So I am now Bianca Solderini, the Crown Princess of Rathain and Karathan. Which is a mouthful, but ah well. And how have you been?"

"It's distinguished!" he protests.

"Pretty well. I sort of, uh. Lost four months."

Shifty look.

She blinks.

"Oh?"

"Well, I don't really need to eat or drink or sleep, so ..."

He shrugs. "Got distracted."

"Oh, I see. Yes, I can understand that."

He smiles hopefully.

That shifty look may still be on his face.

"I can! I once spent about a year counting shells. Vampires...can get distracted."

See, now Bianca is looking shifty as well.

Regulus snickers.

Bianca sticks her tongue.

...yes, she's mature.
