Bonzo sees the strike coming, and combines a backstep and a block to avoid the shot. Once the blow is parried, he steps forward and makes an aggressive swing at Petra from the side.

Rather to Petra's supprise, Bonzo scores. She steps back.

"Seems I'm out of pratice now."

Bonzo shrugs.

"I was more aggressive than I usually am, I guess."

Bonzo? More aggressive than he usually is? Wouldn't that be impossible in most timelines?

Petra smiles slightly and goes back into the defensive posture.

Bonzo attacks first this time, striking upwards as if to make Petra join the Star Wars Characters Without Limbs club.

The girl steps backward and doesn't attack yet.

Bonzo presses the attack forward, taking one or two decent-sized steps forward and swinging strongly upwards with each step, keeping a rhythm of swings up.

Petra sighs slightly and steps into Bonzo's attack, blocking his first blow and setting up to block others.

Bonzo keeps up the rhythm for a few more swings, with several not being aimed directly at Petra so much as being designed to set up for the next swing.

As the situation demands it Petra Blocks, or ducks, moves back and on.

Bonzo continues pressing the attack, stepping forward slowly, slowly...and then he trips, falling flat on his face. He immediately rolls over, getting on his back to try and face any shot Petra might take at him.

Without thinking Petra strikes at Bonzo's legs. Her mind has wandered from the battle or she would have never hit at a downed man who ment her no harm.

Bonzo looks as the blade "cuts" through his legs, leaving a slight funny feeling that always seems to occur when a blade touches one's body. He looks up at Petra and holds his blade up to stop any more attacks.

Petra begins to go for the heart-strike and only barely pulls out. She staggers backward shakeing her head to clear it.

Bonzo winces just a bit as Petra nearly strikes him through the heart. When she steps back, he stands up.

"You alright, Petra?"

She looks a little bit out of it.

"Why didn't you go for the kill shot there?"

Petra shakes her head again and half grins.

"It was enough to know that I could have killed you and I was thinking of Peter when I was attacking."

Bonzo smiles a bit.

"It's just odd...I still had my 'saber up and you chose not to strike..."

Bonzo pauses for a moment.

"Again?"

Petra thinks a moment then nods once sharply, not wanting to talk much more.

Bonzo once again takes up a stance, and as soon as Petra gets into position with her 'saber ignited, he presses an attack.

Petra blocks, and blocks, not wanting to go on the offence right now.

Bonzo presses the attack for another step, and then decides to force Petra to attack. He doesn't want to trip again, after all.

Petra presses the attack, keeping her swings even and in the middle ring. She wasn't built for the outter ring, and there were too many chances in the inner. For now she is simply testing to find a weak spot.

Bonzo takes a step back as he's placed on the defensive now, giving just a bit of ground for a moment. Then, he takes a swing attempting to...uh...disarm Petra.

Well, Disarm would be exactly the way to say it, that is, if Bonzo had succeeded. Petra takes a halfstep backwards and takes the force of the blow on her blade, making sure she isn't pressured backwards too far.

Bonzo starts coming forwards now, hitting aggressively, attempting to force Petra to open up an angle of attack. His attacks, therefore, are fairly overpowering...what do you expect from him?
