Mary Anne's in her booth using her old knife to carve a small hunk of bone. Seems she's got one last minute Christmas present to make.

There's a couple other presents in evidence. She's wearing the tiger pendant Gorlim gave her around her neck. Oh, and the glittery pink bikini top from the boys.

Come ask her what she's making. Or why she's wearing (half) a bathing suit. Again.

Gorlim catches sight of her and whistles.

He's annoying like that.

She's used to it--the whistling part.

She grins. "Like the outfit? Christmas present from Ramon and Random, but probably more from Ramon. He's just trying to lure me into another bet."

She takes another chip out of the bone, trying not to take a similar chunk out of her finger.

"Another bet?" he asks, taking a seat by her. "What are you carving?"

She laughs. "That's right--you missed the fun. I lost a bet to him and had to pay up recently. Two days in the bar in a bikini and heels."

"This?" She looks down at her hands, small cuts dotting most of her fingers. "Hopefully it'll be a charm when I'm done. I still owe someone a Christmas present." Something in her smile says it's him.

"Ohhhh," Gorlim smiles at her knowingly. "Well you might want to wrap your fingers, then. Although I dare say carving's a thing to get used to."

He laughs imagining her in a bikini and heels. "What was the bet over?"

She shrugs. "Did alright on the first two. This one's just deciding to be difficult." She shapes a curve that hopefully looks something like a wing.

And we take a break from working to facepalm. "Very silly. Not worth mentioning really."

"The feathers," he points out casually, "fold like that..." He traces with his finger.

"And now, of course, you know you HAVE to tell me."

"Thanks." She carefully etches the lines with the tip of her knife. She may not be much at carving, but she's good with her weapon.

She resolves to neither blush nor laugh. "He dared me to ask Bernard to have Bar start providing hookers."

Gorlim almost falls off his chair laughing.

"Did you??"

Not laughing, really. She might lose a finger.

"Sadly, no. I had a month to talk to him and couldn't find him once. I maintain that Ramon kept him locked in a closet the entire time, just so I'd have to wear the bikini. He'll admit to it if you ask him, but probably just because he likes the idea."

"But -- someone NEEDS to ask Bernard that! Just... just to ask it!"
