There is a Chase, in the bar, with a book that he is only pretending to read.
It's difficult to pay full attention to a book when one is keeping a wary eye and a half out for certain daughters and certain fathers-in-law-to-be that one has to make certain apologies to or risk certain...something.
If your name just happens to be Angela or Jack, you might want to just happen to stop by the booth.
And if your name isn't, you're certainly perfectly welcome to stop by anyway.

"I'm happy to hear that, she seems so much better, doesn't she?"

"She seems more confident," he says, which makes him happy, "but she's still...y'know, she wants to go back home. I guess I can see how she'd get homesick and feel cooped-up here after a while."

But his next words kill whatever feelings she was starting to have. "I know, when I think about how...none of this is really fair to her."

His arm around her shoulder tightens.

"I can't either - I thought not knowing would be best, but the not knowing...the questions hurt."

It's a dangerous question to be asking, especially for him. But it hurts to see Angela unhappy.

"I don't think so...I can't...really see how our relationship with Angie could effect all that much about the world."
